About the Role
We are seeking an energetic, motivated Inside Sales Representative in our national operations office location in Boca Raton, Florida. The work schedule will primarily be Monday-Friday afternoon and evening coverage, but may fluctuate based on business needs. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel in establishing quick rapport in communications, and is detail oriented. This role works closely with regional leads, outside sales teams, field teams, and other internal departments. The Inside Sales Rep implements strategies to facilitate the expansion of our rental and sales business in all our North American properties.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a timely and professional manner.
Identify customer needs, quote, and recommend products or services to drive rentals and sales.
Assist customers with product information, pricing, logistics, and order placement.
Dispatch service requests and pickups to the appropriate teams or technicians, ensuring timely responses and resolution.
Update customer information and sales progress in CRM systems to maintain accurate records.
Regularly update and track work order statuses in national account portals, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date. This includes monitoring progress, communicating any delays or changes, and ensuring timely completion according to customer specifications and deadlines.
Proactively follow up on incoming leads, working to convert them into actionable sales opportunities. This involves engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, addressing any questions or concerns.
Research and prepare prospect lists, make outbound calls, and work closely with the Area Manager to explore potential opportunities.
Assist with researching to resolve billing and credit issues with existing accounts.
Review, process, and follow up on customer credit applications or any vendor paperwork needed.
Consistently communicate with Inside Sales team and Sales Manager on any inventory and branch status updates.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
3+ years of experience in sales/customer service
1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Suite
1+ years of experience using CRM platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and handle competing demands.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
Salesforce CRM experience
Accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing knowledge
Experience with Five9 Phone System
Call center and dispatch experience
Rentals industry or HVAC experience
