Work you'll do

The CXO Strategy and Operations Leader oversees the seamless functioning of all strategic and operational aspects of the service area. They will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives, improving operational efficiency, and initiatives focused on the DT US strategic objectives. They will collaborate closely with the CXO leader, CXO pillar leaders, DT-US OCIO team, and various other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, project management, and business operations.

  • Develop, coordinate, empower, and communicate the CXO organization's strategic plan with CXO Leadership in alignment with DT-US overall goals and objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative strategies and drive operational improvements.

  • Collaborate with the PMO and Change Management team to define, organize, and execute projects on behalf of the CXO organization, including Organizational Change Management, ad-hoc executive project management, and driving completion of enterprise efforts.

  • Work with the CXO Leader and other stakeholder leadership teams to ensure effective participation on projects and other key initiatives.

  • Sponsor CXO organization's talent initiatives and focus groups working to align these efforts within CXO and across DT-US.

  • Work directly with Talent on organizational change initiatives, talent initiatives, onboarding/offboarding/resourcing, and other efforts for the CXO organization.

  • Facilitate, design, and communicate CXO organization resourcing strategy.

  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of strategies and operations.

  • Lead the coordination of executive presentation materials, internal CXO communications, and ensure CIO and OCIO messaging is communicated across the organization.

  • Manage the flow of information and communication to/from the CXO organization.

  • Design, organize, and execute CXO leadership meetings and other meetings on behalf of the CXO Leader. Represent the CXO organization in relevant meetings, discussions, and conference calls.

  • Communications coordination with vendors and Deloitte Risk for speaking engagements, videos, and publications on behalf of the CXO Leader.

  • Coordinate at executive-level to ensure CXO alignment on all cross-organizational activities in US-DT in support of driving efficiencies, collaboration, and working to break down silos.

  • Assist the CXO Leader in issue/question/escalation follow up, delegation and closure, and work directly with other leaders to drive successful completion of enterprise efforts.

  • Sponsor the Executive Technology Support team to assist Executive Leadership, Board Members, and their teams navigate technology challenges and changes.

  • Independently analyze and craft execution plans to problems, issues, and escalations delegated by CXO Leader.

  • Identify resources within CXO organization as needed to assist with Deloitte-on-Deloitte activities and work with OCIO to ensure tracking at the DT US organizational level.

  • Coordinate between CXO Leadership and DT-US Finance for any budget related requests.

  • CXO organization representative for OCIO coordination, information requests and strategic alignment.

    Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategy & operations role

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required. Must be able to easily grasp and communicate complex ideas.

  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills

  • Superior people leadership, relationship management, time management, and organizational skills including appropriate sense of urgency and proactive approach.

  • Ability to think globally, strategically and creatively.

  • Proven ability to take a project from inception (idea stage) and organize a plan to deliver the final working solution. Leads and manages all aspects of the project.

  • Acute sense of professional judgment including appropriate risk taking and political savvy

  • Expert problem solver. Leverages knowledge gained through prior experience, education, training to resolve issues and remove project barriers.

  • Extensive experience advising and coaching top executives on strategic, organizational, and communications matters.

  • Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients (internal and external)

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

    Preferred Technical skills:

  • Data Science / Analytics using a multitude of data sources.

  • VDI platforms: AVD, Amazon Workspaces and VMware

  • Nexthink/ NQL or equivalent

  • SQL/Data base

  • Development Methodology, Agile

  • Scripting, PowerShell, WMI, .NET Framework

  • Microsoft technical certifications

  • Experience working in a large and complex enterprise environment.

  • Qualys

    The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $118,700 to $218,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
