Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join our team based in Boca Raton, Florida. As a Controller, you will be working in a small manufacturing environment, overseeing a team of four, and reporting directly to the CFO. You will be responsible for handling financial reporting, managing accounts, and working with various software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

• Manage the production of the company's budget and forecasts.

• Coordinate the preparation of the company's financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.

• Supervise and manage general ledger accounting functions, including AR and AP, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Work closely with the CFO to enhance and implement financial procedures, and systems.

• Ensure compliance with all internal processes.

• Handle month-end and year-end close process.

• Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.

• Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with policy.

• Implement and work with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller or similar role

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems and Quickbooks Online

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of DCAA regulations and standards

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Ability to manage all Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven skills in Auditing and Budget Processes

• Experience in Month End Close procedures

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Experience in Cam Reconciliation

• Proficient in Financial Reporting, including Annual Financial Reporting and External Financial Reports

• Ability to manage Cash Management, including Daily Cash Management, Cash Balance, Cash Clearing, Cash Activity, Cash Flow Modeling, Cash Flow Reports, Cash Flow Statements, and Cash Forecasting

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
