Description

We are in search of a permanent Sr. Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. You will also be tasked with formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues, patterns and trends to provide insights to improve business performance and/or talent solutions.

• Provide coaching and development planning to Senior Managers to aid in succession planning and business growth.

• Develop and support performance improvement initiatives and manage forward-looking promotions.

• Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.

• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.

• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management.

• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.

• Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers.

• Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

• Understand, translate and execute the practices of performance management and improvement, challenging, coaching, and supporting business leaders.

• Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

• Serve as a Culture Ambassador.

This opportunity requires 10+ years of HR Experience, and a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar is highly preferred but not required. Additional certifications such as PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification is also preferred, but not required.

This position is hybrid, with the possibility of 1 day work from home after training. This exciting role offers full benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401k. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, HCM, and HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems

• Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration and Human Resources Management System

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions, Compliance, and Employment Policies

• Ability to handle Employee Relations and Hiring Processes effectively

• Strong Communication and Collaboration skills

• Experience in conducting investigations

• Knowledge of Business succession planning, Organizational Policies, and Policies & Procedures

• Ability to perform Performance Evaluations and devise Performance Improvement Plans

• Experience in managing Reorganization and implementing Corrective Action

• Proficient in using various HR tools and technologies for seamless operations.
