Foods - Foods Supervisor Bloomington, MN, USA Req #749 Tuesday, July 30, 2024 PURPOSE:To provide direction to foods team members while ensuring that outstanding guest service, safety and a demonstration of team work is always provided to our internal and external guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide ongoing leadership and supervision to foods team leads and cashiers Ensure overall safety and functioning of park foods equipment, reporting concerns to appropriate party Ensure food safety standards are followed in compliance with the MN Health Code Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors; communicate any issues or concerns with them Coordinating the use of kitchen space, supplies and equipment is used properly, well maintained and safety. Manage stock levels for maximum sales and inventory control Interview and hire for new team members as well as promotions Create staffing reports to ensure that the most efficient schedule configuration is being utilized Perform all payroll functions and document all employee relations issues ensuring accuracy and timeliness Monitor and attend to team member performance concerns and properly enforce all policies and procedures Provide coaching opportunities for team members, focusing on building a highly motivated team Monitor daily sales progress and set sales goals for staff Responsible for managing staffing numbers during their shift based on sales progress and cutting staff when necessary Ensure that training is being conducted and documented Train, develop and direct staff to consistently place safety and service at the forefront of job duties. Conduct over/short reports to ensure that all cash handling procedures are being followed Ensuring that all employees are complying with company policy and procedure Provide feedback to team members and resolve team member performance issues Document performance Maintain performance files and records for department team members. Coach, train and mentor employees. Emphasize guest service by responding to guests in person, via email, phone or letter about questions, concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner. Operate a computerized POS system in an efficient and timely manner Serve as on-duty person in charge of Park Attractions operation when assigned as "Park One" May provide direction/support in other work areas such as needed Regular, reliable and consistent attendance Additional duties as assigned. PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: High school diploma or equivalent 2-4 years college preferred Previous retail management experience preferred POS skill and knowledge Guest service experience preferred Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment Ability to make quick decisions and changes for the enhancement of floor display, guest service, safety and productivity.
