Description

A mid-size insurance company is seeking to add a Non-IT Project Manager to their Admin services and planning team. They have 2 major projects they will be primarily aligned to. One of the projects will be adding a module to their Workday implementation system and replace their current procurement system and the second iterative of that implementation that they did in January of 2025. It is not required but would be extremely beneficial if the individual had any experience with workday, specifically ERP/ HR and finance sector to have knowledge from a system/ product standpoint. The second project is a security assessment project in which they are looking at their current security front landscape. They already have an IT Project manager aligned to both projects and an integration partner they are working with in the Procurement project. They are seeking this project manager to join to help with the heavy project management deliverables. They should be able to keep the work between multiple business streams organized, on task, and work with change management team. They should understand risk, manage documentation and reporting. They should be a skilled communicator and attention to detail and be able to manage project timelines. They will be able to leverage a suite of tools and templates put in place with the integrator on the first project and for the second project they are using Jira but there will be several MS Office suite tools they will be using as well and should be proficient in.

Project manager scheduling meetings, documentation, updating project documents, communication and training. Updates the project plan. Assists in information collection and validations. Helps prepare status reports and presentations. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Manages the entire project lifecycle from project definition through implementation. Accountable for meeting agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and quality measures. Develops project plan and drives project milestones. Establishes effective communication plan with project team and key stakeholders. Ensures effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project. Responsible for preparation of documentation, status reports and budgets.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
