Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Shop Manager to join an Industrial technology company located in Bloomfield, CT. The ideal candidate will be onsite 5 days a week and has R&D machine shop experience, with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background. They will be responsible for organizing the day to day and developing a team of 5 prototype machinists.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience Leading a machine shop team.

• Background in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience managing projects including, budgets, deadlines, planning, and execution. - Familiarity with Milling Machines, Lathes, Waterjet Cutting Machines, Wire EDM Machining, Press Brakes.

• Experience using Mastercam (or similar).

• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders. null
