Aston Carter Inventory Specialist in Bloomfield, Connecticut

Job description:

  • As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring seamless production processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular physical counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies.

  • Update and maintain inventory records in the company database or ERP system.

  • Assist in the organization and optimization of warehouse storage spaces.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock.

  • Generate and analyze reports related to inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.

  • Identify and report any issues with product quality or packaging.

  • Assist in the implementation of inventory control processes to improve efficiency.

  • Work closely with the procurement team to manage stock levels and prevent shortages.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree Required

  • Great Communication skills and Computer savvy.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
