Quality Inspector

1st shift: 6 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Job Description

Employee will perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts, including inspecting welds, punched holes, angles, and bend allowances on bent parts. The inspector will compare findings to blueprints to ensure they are within acceptable ranges and document the results.

• Perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts.

• Inspect welds, punched holes, angles, and bend allowances on bent parts.

• Compare inspection results to blueprints to ensure compliance with acceptable ranges.

• Document inspection findings accurately and thoroughly.

Essential Skills

• Experience with calipers and micrometers.

• Proficiency in blueprint reading.

• Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

• Experience inspecting sheet metal parts, including welds, bends, and holes.

• Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to stand for entire shift (10 hours).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
