Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join a growing company in Blacklick, Ohio. As a MIG welder, you will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, setting up welding equipment, and fabricating metal components as per specifications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of welding techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.

• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand.

• Operate MIG welding equipment to fabricate metal components according to technical drawings.

• Inspect welds for accuracy and ensure that welding operations meet quality standards.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a MIG welder or similar role.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

• Proficient in MIG welding techniques and familiarity with various welding equipment.

• strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, bending).

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welds and other types of welds based on project needs.

• Interpret engineering drawings, work samples, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of assignments.

• Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble them in a jig fixture in preparation for welding.

• De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve the proper surface finish.

• Adhere to all shop safety requirements.

• Work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
