SUMMARY: The Lead Receiving Attendant is responsible for maintaining an efficient and consistent flow of merchandise through the receiving department. The Lead Receiving Attendant must ensure that supplies are located and distributed to proper departments in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. SALARY: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour nonexempt ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Abide by all company and departmental policies and procedures in a timely manner. Receive incoming shipments/ deliveries from vendors, counts, measures, or weighs them and attach date identification. Coordinate with the different departments regarding shipments to be returned. Sees to it that products are properly stored in freezers/storage areas and internal shipment of items are conducted utilizing the first in first out procedures to avoid spoilage and damage of products. Assist in the receiving, pulling orders and various warehouse activities. See to the general cleanliness of the receiving areas and warehouse storage facilities. Match paperwork and reconcile in computer. Perform other duties as may be assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience with shipping and/or receiving strongly preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Clark County Health Card required. LANGUAGE SKILLS Must be able to effectively communicate in English. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. COMPUTER SKILLS Must have Microsoft Office experience. Proficiency in Stratton Warren inventory system preferred. MACHINERY USED Pallet jack, dolly, hand truck. Forklift Certified Preferred
