At Grundfos, we develop state-of-the-art reliable, sustainable water management technology for private and commercial use.

In Bjerringbro, you will join Product Development within Commercial Building Service (CBS), dedicated to driving the development projects within Grundfos core products like MAGNA and MIXIT. Together with highly skilled engineers and Product Owners, you will play a key role in our development teams.

As our Scrum Master, you will support our hardware development team and our team working at the product level.

What is the job about?

Grundfos is on an agile journey, and we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master who is familiar with and motivated by transformation in a multi-team environment expanding beyond the SW domain.

You will be responsible for coaching 2 cross-functional development teams. With an ambitious roadmap, we rely on your capacity to improve our ways of working to maximize value. As you will be in a multi-team setup cross-team disciplines like dependency management and impediments handling beyond your teams are important to excel in.

You will be a part of the functional leadership team together with other key agile roles and line managers.

You will serve the Development Team in several ways, including:

  • Coaching in self-management and ability to effectively work cross-functionally.

  • Being cognizant of team health and guiding the team to a continuous improving-ways-of-working mindset.

  • Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed.

  • Helping Product Owners to understand product planning in a hands-on environment. Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value and help the Product Owner to understand and practice agility.

  • Working closely with other teams contributing to the same program, where effective dependency management and elimination of roadblocks are key.

  • Introduce techniques for effective Product Backlog management. Supporting the Scrum Team to understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items.

  • Initiate change in the organization that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team.

  • Communication with stakeholders and partners and grow a widespread network within the organization.

What do you need to apply?

We are looking for a person with a good understanding of technical disciplines covering electronics and mechanical development or system engineering. You are a people person with a good sense of team dynamics.

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:

  • More than 3 years of experience with agile development embracing SW and HW capabilities.

  • Scrum Master certification or equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with stage gate methodologies and agile project management.

  • Experience from an international R&D organization is a plus.

  • Excellent change management skills.

  • Experience with scaling agile across an organisation.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

  • Ability to identify growth potential within your team and for yourself.

  • A relevant technical degree.

  • Proficiency in English.
