System One Construction Manager in Bixby, Oklahoma

The Construction Manager will handle both technical and administrative tasks, including managing project documentation, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain tracking systems to monitor the progress of City projects, subdivision developments, and other construction initiatives.

  • Perform periodic inspections to verify compliance with contract documents, construction standards, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Manage communication between contractors, consultants, and other staff throughout the project lifecycle, including bidding, change orders, and field orders.

  • Attend project design and construction meetings, providing input based on experience.

  • Generate and maintain spreadsheets outlining project status and timelines.

  • Provide administrative support, including the creation of reports, correspondence, and procedural documents.

  • Oversee and provide support to the infrastructure inspection team.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with college coursework in office practices, construction technology, or related fields (Associate’s Degree preferred).

  • 10 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and related office software.

  • Strong understanding of construction principles, codes (including BOCA), and standards.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and manage multiple tasks under pressure.

  • Experience with project tracking, managing deadlines, and working with diverse teams.

  • Experience leading municipal infrastructure projects
