Bravera Receptionist in Bismarck, North Dakota
Bravera Insurance is hiring for a Receptionist in Bismarck, ND. Bravera is an employee- and director-owned company that is committed to helping our employees forge a new path in their career. This position is primarily responsible for routing incoming phone calls, greeting and directing customers to the appropriate staff, and assisting the Internal Operations Department.
Measures of Success
- Answer our incoming calls promptly with minimal dropped calls.
- Faxes and contact emails are delivered to internal staff on a timely basis with minimal errors.
- Provide our customers with a positive experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- This position is primarily responsible for presenting a positive and professional image of Bravera Insurance to customers and staff at all times.
- Responsible to route incoming phone calls to the appropriate person and will deliver accurate phone messages. Must understand all features of the phone system and assist staff members in utilizing options.
- Greet all customers, visitors, and guests and direct to the appropriate staff member.
- Responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing all incoming Bravera Insurance mail. Responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing all incoming e-mails received through corporate e-mail account and faxes.
- Retrieves agency documents (renewals, endorsements, etc) from carrier websites according to carrier specific instructions.
- Collects and prepares all outgoing mail for carriers and remote locations.
- Prepares receipt of payment from carrier website for customer payments that are brought into the office.
- Completes agency bank deposits as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining an orderly and efficient front office area and conference room including monitoring office supplies and compiling an order, as needed.
- Maintain a neat, attractive reception area.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
- The employee will adhere to all insurance rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
- Will be required to drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel required. Must maintain a clear driving record in order to maintain coverage under Braveras vehicle insurance provider.
- Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in business or related filed or other secondary education preferred.
- Present a positive and professional image of Bravera to customers and staff at all times.
- PC Proficiency in a windows environment required, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must have exceptional telephone etiquette, good organizational skills, and be thorough, patient, and detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
- Proficiency in keyboarding.
- Ability to provide top notch customer service to all internal and external customers.
