CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. Responsibilities

CHI is looking for a PRN ECG Tech to join the team!

Under general direction, assists in the administration and technical operations of the ECG department. Independently performs ECG procedures at the bedside in all areas of the hospital and clinics on all ages of patients served by the department. Oversees the ECG Management system to assure high quality services be provided to the remote sites and to CHI St. Alexius Health.

What You'll Do:

• Properly performs ECG’s on adult patients, including geriatrics, adolescent and pediatric patients with proper patient hookup, maintaining effective communication with the patient and the ordering physician.

• Performs technical duties in the CHI St. Alexius Health ECG Lab.

• Organizes services provided to the remote sites using St. Alexius ECG management system.

• Responsible for monthly sundry billing, reports for H & L clinic.

• Trains new staff in house and at remote sites as needed.

• Responsible for yearly PM and trouble shooting and replacing equipment as needed.

Qualifications

Education: General knowledge of ECG function is desirable, basic anatomy is also helpful.

Experience: Current BCLS is required

Skills: Basic computer skills. Previous work with ECG desired.

Pay Range

$15 - $19.815 /hour
