CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities

Do you want to act as a role model through support of the Medical Center’s mission, vision, and values? How about Develop, maintain, and evaluate policies and procedures to facilitate the delivery of nursing care? We want you to Attain professional growth and development in leadership. As well as Foster a diverse, multi-cultural, professional work environment. Have you ever wanted to Participate in safety, security, and infection control programs? You would need to maintain staffing by , interviewing, selecting, and onboarding nurses and ancillary staff. We also wnt you to Conduct bi-annual performance evaluations and corrective action. If any of that sounds like something you would be interested in then THIS IS THE POSITION FOR YOU. In addition some of the other responsibilites include :

*Maintains oversight of the budget process for their respective nursing departments.

*Assists with the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Medical Center’s goals through support of Strategic Planning.

*Coordinates new programs and ensures strategies are implemented to enhance patient care delivery.

*Collaborates with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, executive officers, and other key stakeholders to implement quality improvement strategies and strategic

planning initiatives.

*Promotes and supports the Triad Leadership structure through active participation and collaboration in the model.

Qualifications

Required:

Education and Licensure

*Required Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline; Master’s Degree strongly preferred

*ND Nursing License

Minimum Experience

*Minimum of 5 years Perioperative experience to include 3 years leadership experience.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

*Working knowledge of basic clinical skills in delivery of patient care. Organizational skills to plan and control the responsibilities assigned to the position. Able to use computer, keyboard, and telephone. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Relationship skills are necessary to effectively lead change. Flexibility to adjust to changing conditions and the various details of the job. Visual acuity necessary to prepare and read reports. Basic Life Support Certification within 3 months of employment and meets recertification as required.

Preferred:

Pay Range

$58.06 - $82.015 /hour
