Responsibilities

CHI St Alexius is looking for a Full Time Clinic LPN to join the Primary Care team in Mandan.

Under the supervision of the Clinic Coordinator, the Clinic Nurse (LPN) assesses, plans, implements and evaluates individual patient care in the clinic according to policies and procedures. The clinic nurse assists physicians in clinical duties to ensure patients and families receive the highest quality care and knowledge promoting patient wellness. The clinic nurse maintains standards of the State Nurse Practice Act.

What You'll Do:

• Utilizes the nursing process to assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive plan of care for the patient/family which promotes optimal patient outcomes.

• Meets the educational needs of coworkers and patient/family utilizing principals of teaching/learning.

• Delegates nursing care based on knowledge of staff qualifications/competency andpatient care requirements.

• Successfully completed the defined job specific competencies, including competency for age specific, as appropriate .

Skills:

Demonstrates ability to organize personnel assignments and activities for others for the overall benefit of the clinic. Working knowledge of clinical skills in delivery of patient care. Demonstrates proficiency in unit and the ability to function efficiently during crisis.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of a school of nursing.

Licensure: Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Nursing

Experience: Prefer a minimum of one year clinical or hospital experience.

Pay Range

$20.79 - $27.8 /hour
