Responsibilities

CHI St. Alexius is looking for a Supervisor for Cardiopulmonary.

The Supervisor effectively leads and supervises staff and operations of the assigned therapies and services which fall under the oversight of the Director of Respiratory Therapy and Rehabilitative Services. Effectively collaborates with other leaders throughout the CHI St. Alexius Health system. Diligently performs duties in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of CHI St. Alexius Health.

What You'll Do:

  • Communicates and collaborates effectively with staff and other leaders and role models behaviors that are consistent with our mission and that support the development of a positive culture in the medical center.

  • Supervises staff including hiring, orientation, coaching, and appraising staff performance.

  • Develops and implements department goals in collaboration with the Director and staff.

  • Directs day to day operations of the assigned services including staff scheduling and deployment.

  • Oversees and manages assigned departmental revenues and expenses in relation to established budget.

  • Maintains data and provides management reports including but not limited to staff and departmental productivity, compliance and regulatory requirements, associates competencies, and patient satisfaction, outcomes and quality.

  • Facilitates the development of programs and services that improve quality, safety, productivity, and program growth.

  • Maintains a high level of physical presence in the various departments and works to be available to all associates.

  • Demonstrates high initiative and manages time effectively.

  • Facilitates positive team development and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years leadership experience OR minimum of 5 years leadership experience in the discipline OR Master’s Degree and no experience

5 years in a professional staff role with previous supervisory experience preferred.

Superior oral and written communication. Strong computer skill including word and excel. Maintains confidentiality.

Pay Range

$38.93 - $53.53 /hour
