Responsibilities
Works under the general supervision of the Clinical Coordinator. Provides and performs patient care services associated with the overall operation of Surgical Services in accordance with the mission and philosophy of St. Alexius Medical Center.
What You'll Do:
Consistently keeps assigned Operating Room clean and orderly, supplies and equipment are returned to proper stock points.
Maintains assigned Core adequately stocked, not under or over stocking.
Communicates with RN accepting and following through on delegated assignments.
Provides assistance to physicians, patients, family members, visitors and staff as necessary.
Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transports patients appropriately and to correct destination without error.
Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
Assists anesthesia care providers with procedures in the preparation of open heart procedures.
Qualifications
Education: High School student, graduate or equivalent.
Licensure : Must obtain/register on the North Dakota Department of Health Nursing Assistant Registry. If not registered, then must obtain registration within 4 months of start date.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years operating room experience, six months at St. Alexius Medical Center Operating Room.
Skills: Ability to organize assignments and work under pressure. Basic Life Support Certification within 480 hours of employment and meets re-certification as required.
Pay Range
$15.51 - $20.74 /hour
