Job Title: Sitework Engineer

Job Description

A Civil Engineer specializing in Power Delivery with a concentration on site development is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of power delivery infrastructure. This includes substations, transmission lines, and related facilities, ensuring they are integrated seamlessly into the site.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed site plans and specifications for power delivery systems, including substations, transmission lines, and associated infrastructure.

• Coordinate with electrical engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Conduct site reconnaissance to assess field conditions, drainage, erosion control needs, and as-built conditions.

• Ensure all designs and constructions comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety codes.

• Provide technical expertise and support for senior engineers and project managers.

• Monitor construction activities to ensure materials and workmanship meet project quality standards and design requirements.

• Address and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.

• Prepare and present reports on project progress, costs, and any issues to senior management and stakeholders.

Essential Skills

• Ability to perform prep designs and calculations.

• Conducting site walkdowns.

• Cost estimates.

• Proficiency with Civil 3D for design.

• Understanding and experience with Erosion Control and/or sediment control.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering design.

• Experience in site development.

• Project engineering skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
