SUMMARY

As a member of the Credit Risk Analytics team, the Risk Consultant. plays a key role in assisting the business partners through reporting and analysis to enable them to apply actionable insights to understand and improve business performance. The role will provide reporting and analytical services to various business lines for the management of risk issues, that include the identification of risk issues and development appropriate responses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with business teams to understand their objectives, the metrics that are the most important to them, and use that information to design and create scalable solutions

  • Collaborate with Credit Risk Analytics team members to execute & improve report development processes

  • Identify and understand the necessary data sources for projects and efficient ways to clean and transform it

  • Analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with clear objectives in mind

  • Analyze reporting and processes to make recommendations to management to enhance the quality of deliverables and improve efficiency

  • Review process and procedures to develop the best control environment, developing and implementing risk management initiatives

  • Other reporting analytical and project work as needed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. No supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, data mining, applied mathematics or other quantitative discipline

  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational and report analysis skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group that has several concurrent projects

  • Midlevel experience with data analytics dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and data query/transformation tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, Alteryx, etc.)

  • Good written and oral communication skills

Microsoft Office suite

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc)
