Heavy Equipment Automotive Technicians repair and maintain machinery like graders, bulldozers, backhoes, and tractors. They inspect equipment to identify maintenance or repair needs and may assist less experienced team members. Technicians follow instructions, policies, and standard practices to complete tasks assigned by work orders or supervisors. While they work under supervision, they use theirjudgment to decide on repair methods. Supervisors review their work for accuracy and compliance with guidelines through progress checks, reports, or final results.
Qualifications:
Commercial driver's license.
Coursework, certification, or verifiable experience diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting diesel engines, air brake systems, hydraulic systems, and equipment undercarriages.
Typical Work Schedule: Monday Friday 8am 5pm**
