Keystone Associates Architects, Engineers & Surveyors LLC Survey Technician in Binghamton, New York

Survey Technician - Keystone is currently seeking skilled and detail-oriented Survey Technicians to join our team. As a Survey Technician, you will play a crucial role in collecting and analyzing data to support our firm's projects. You will work closely with Surveyors and Engineers to ensure accurate measurements and precise documentation. If you have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in using surveying equipment and software, we would love to hear from you. <P> Responsibilities <LI> Assist Surveyors in conducting field surveys and measurements <LI> Operate and maintain surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors <LI> Set up and manage survey control points <LI> Collect and record field data, ensuring accuracy and completeness <LI> Conduct analysis of survey data and prepare reports and maps <LI> Assist in the preparation of survey plans and drawings <LI> Collaborate with Engineers, construction teams, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection and analysis <LI> Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times <P> Requirements <LI> Associate degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field <LI> Proven experience as a Survey Technician or similar role <LI> Proficiency in using surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors <LI> Familiarity with surveying software and data processing tools, such as AutoCAD <LI> Strong mathematical and analytical skills <LI> Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment <LI> Strong attention to detail and accuracy <LI> Excellent written and verbal communication skills <LI> Valid driver's license and ability to travel to field locations as required <P> We offer a benefits program that is not only competitive, but responsive to the changing needs of today's workers.
