Rapid Deployable Systems Recieving Clerks in Binghamton, New York

Receiving Clerk - Here at Rapid Deployable Systems, a Receiving Clerk is a vital member of the logistics and supply chain team responsible for the efficient and effective management of materials within a warehouse setting. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Receiving Clerk is to manage the efficient receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming shipments. Interdepartmental communication regarding product, process, and shipments. This is a hybrid position with clerical and warehouse duties combined, you must possess experience in both categories. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that products are received in a timely and accurate manner. Attention to detail is required. <P> Key Responsibilities: <LI> Receiving and Inspection: <LI> Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the delivered items. <LI> Inspect products for damages, discrepancies, or defects. <LI> Record and report any issues with received items to the appropriate department. <LI> Documentation and Record-Keeping: <LI> Maintain detailed and accurate records of received shipments. <LI> Update inventory systems with received quantities and product details. <LI> Generate and maintain receiving reports for auditing purposes. <LI> Communication: <LI> Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any receiving issues. <LI> Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a smooth flow of information regarding incoming shipments. <LI> Organization and Storage: <LI> Organize and store received items in designated storage areas. <LI> Ensure that the storage area is clean, organized, and complies with safety regulations. <LI> Collaboration: <LI> Work closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to coordinate and prioritize incoming shipments. <LI> Assist in inventory management tasks as needed. <P> Qualifications: <LI> High school diploma or equivalent. <LI> At least (2) years of experience in a clerical/office/interdepartmental position. <LI> Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hybrid logistics/clerical environment. <LI> Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. <LI> Excellent organizational and time-management skills. <LI> Ability to lift and move heavy items. <LI> Proficient in using basic computer software and inventory management systems. <LI> Attributes: <LI> Detail-oriented and meticulous in performing tasks. <LI> Strong communication and interpersonal skills. <LI> Ability to work effectively in a team environment. <LI> Adaptability and ability to handle a fast-paced work environment. <LI> Benefits: <LI> Competitive salary <LI> Health and dental insurance <LI> Retirement savings plan <P> Requirements - <LI> Reference Check/Background Check. <P> If you meet the above qualifications and are looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization, we invite you to apply for the position of Receiving Clerk.
