Inpatient Applications Manager, UHS Phelps Hall United Health Services is seeking a Inpatient Applications Manager to join our EPIC Implementation department at UHS Phelps Hall in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$43.34 - $65.34 per hour, depending on experience.
Overview
The Application Manager is responsible for the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the department for service lines and applications within their assigned area of responsibility. The Application Manager is accountable for application design, build, maintenance and support activities, and ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope/budget, and with efficient and productive use of resources.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
Bachelor's Degree in related healthcare field
In the absence of a Bachelor’s degree, four to five (4-5) years of healthcare experience and minimum of one (1) year related healthcare IT or IT project management experience, required.
Minimum of four (4) years related healthcare IT experience including one (1) year of healthcare IT project management experience, required.
Preferred:
Master's Degree
Epic or relevant application experience
Clinical background and/or hospital operations experience
Experience directing and managing complex systems or implementations for large, academic medical centers and integrated delivery networks (IDN) preferred.
License/Certification
Preferred:
Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification or equivalent preferred.
Current Epic certification(s), if applicable
Must be willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completion of training at Epic within one of the core applications of job responsibility
