Human Resource Manager - The HR Manager will oversee all human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a strong HR background, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to our vision and mission. They will participate in special projects working closely with the Director of Human Resources. <P> PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <LI> Recruitment & Onboarding: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates who align with our mission and values. Oversee the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly. Design and implement employee retention strategies. Employee Relations: Foster a positive and supportive work environment. Address employee concerns and mediate conflicts in a fair and compassionate manner through positive and professional mediation. Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures. Serve as a point of contact, answering HR related questions. <LI> Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations. Maintain and update HR policies and procedures. <LI> Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation processes. Provide guidance and support to managers and staff to enhance performance and professional development. <LI> Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities. <LI> HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, managing benefits and payroll, handling HR-related inquiries, ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations and analyze HR metrics, data, compensation, and benefits for improvement. <P> SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <LI> Review applications/resumes and screen candidates for available positions; making referrals of well-qualified and skillful applicants to the respective department managers and/or supervisor. <LI> Maintain and update employee handbook as necessary. <P> QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB <LI> Education: <LI> Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or similar work experience required. <P> Experience: <LI> 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles <LI> 3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations. <P> KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES <LI> Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. <LI> Expertise in Human Resources practices and policies. <LI> Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations. <LI> Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. <LI> Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. <LI> Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues. <LI> Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws. <LI> Works well under pressure. <LI> High level of attention to detail. <LI> Must be self-motivated and proactive. <LI> Strong organizational skills. <LI> Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel,) <LI> Time management skills and ability to prioritize continually. <LI> Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.
