Henry Ford Health System Supervisor- Billing CCS- 40 Hours- Bingham Farms in Bingham Farms, Michigan

Responsible for the development and implementation of billing and/or accounts payable procedures for a specific business division, its affiliates, joint ventures and/or managed units.

Supervise daily activities of accounts payable, billing and receivables staff. Work with the team to achieve quality and service goals. Ensure daily workload is efficiently managed to meet overall expectations.

Ensure billing processes are performed in an accurate and timely manner. Create consistency and accountability for staff performance in all processes related to an array of accounting/billing functions, resulting in accurate processing of payments, and AP transactions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Associates Degree or a minimum of three years of revenue cycle experience including billing, registration/insurance verification, or point of service collection experience required. General accounting knowledge required to accurately coordinate the accounts receivable system. Ability to create, analyze and interpret reports and spreadsheets. Comprehensive knowledge of state and government billing standards as it relates to insurances. Interpersonal skills required in order to communicate with management, staff, clients and third-party representatives, etc.
