Core Responsibilities

  • Work creatively with licensees to build product portfolios across hardlines and softlines that excite consumers of all ages across multiple geographies.

  • Support our brand values and sustainability journey through licensee pipeline management & strategic assortment definition always grounded on insights.

  • Deliver excellence in partner relationship building, business analysis and management forecasting and product portfolio management.

  • Engage partners with clear strategic, creative and brand direction.

  • Collaborate with internal & external partners to bring to life strategies from a top line vision to day-to-day operations.

  • Capture and react to market insights by analyzing and reporting on partner, portfolio & campaign performance.

  • Work closely with internal partners to deliver against business plans and activate according to the brand’s goals and strategic tentpoles.

  • Develops a strategic licensee pipeline for long term based on audience insights/trends and aligned with the brand’s objectives.

The Consumer Products Licensing team contributes by delivering a sustainable licensed consumer products program ensuring the direction taken is anchored in our consumer promise and brand vision of learning through play. This role will entail extending the LEGO®brick and digital play into new and sustainable categories, partnerships and experiences that celebrates playful creativity and inspires people across consumer categories and enables the LEGO®brand love to extend beyond the brick.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field and at least 8 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role within the licensing industry.

  • Extensive experience at a leading brand (as a licensor), demonstrating success in building global/regional licensee partnerships.

  • Ability to manage a multifaceted role, including product delivery, negotiations, and storytelling, all aligned with our strategic objectives.

  • Proficiency in brand development, consumer products licensing, and establishing strategic brand partnerships/collaborations.

  • Natural collaborator and adept at building relationships, with confident presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to make balanced decisions between brand and business considerations, focusing on return on investment and OES (owned, earned, shared) value generation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a strategic approach.
