Job Description

Join us as Senior Business Analyst in our R&D Packing and Packaging organisation to facilitate packaging development and support packing production for the LEGO novelties to help creating great play experiences for children and put smiles on their faces!

Core Responsibilities

In this role, the key responsibility is packaging setup and layout for all prepacks for all products matured within the P&P Novelty Development area. Moreover, it will be:

  • Ensuring alignment with the global standards in the packing processes when designing the LEGO prepacks.

  • Be a trusted and chosen sparring partner both from development perspective (PMD) and from a local plant perspective, as well as internally in Packing & Packaging.

  • Participate in packaging projects across the organization where you make a difference with data analysis and detailed process knowledge identifying impacts for packaging processes.

  • Be a change agent in the ways of working to ensure smooth data flow and alignment to the newest guidelines. Always done through LEAN tools/thinking and process documentation – always with a focus on flow and simplicity.

  • Set the bar higher every day – and you always strive for better quality in our deliveries.

Play your part in our team succeeding

You will join 17 colleagues in the R&D P&P Novelty Development team, which delivers packaging solutions and master data for all core line LEGO products. We ensure that all products are designed for manufacturing in right time accordance to the LEGO development plan. Key focus is to ensure quality in the packaging process, balancing costs and ensuring standardization.

Do you have what it takes?

The ideal candidate has proven experience within the manufacturing area, for instance, as Industrial Engineer, Production Engineer, Planner, Master Data Developer, etc. Many different roads lead to this position, but we imagine you will have:

  • Supply Chain knowledge and understanding of packing processes

  • Team mindset and high-quality standards for team deliveries.

  • Strong understanding of structure, systems and processes, preferably from a production company

  • Proactive in your own resource planning, and have a good overview of tasks for the short-term horizon

  • Experience working with SAP

  • Proven experience with advanced Excel and good know-how about LEAN principles. It will be beneficial to have PowerBI experience.

  • A global mentality enabling you to collaborate across cultures

  • Great communication skills, and you speak and write English fluently.
