7 Agricultural Equipment Operators with Quaker Valley Orchards, LLC. Drive and control equipment to support orchard activities such as: ground preparation, brush-clearing, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops. Operate mechanized farm equipment including tractors, planters, mowers, plows, sprayers, cultivators, power shears, chainsaws, bobcats, skid loaders, high lifts, forklifts, and trucks or other vehicles. Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery. Clean, repair, and/or perform routine equipment service. Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Use spraying equipment to apply pesticides, herbicides, and crop protectants or treatments. Must operate equipment properly with or without supervision in a manner that protects operator, other persons, and property. Work performed outdoors in varied weather/temperature conditions. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid post-hire drug testing required (random, post-accident, and upon suspicion).
