Description We are looking for a Manufacturing Cost Contract Specialist to join our team in Biddeford, Maine. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, managing contracts, and handling project management tasks. This role is crucial in the manufacturing industry, providing a strategic approach to cost management and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure costs are in line with project budgets

• Manage contracts, including government bids, to ensure compliance and profitability

• Leverage your knowledge of manufacturing costs to provide detailed project cost accounting

• Use project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

• Handle bid proposals, ensuring they are competitive and reflective of our capabilities

• Participate in contract negotiations, using your knowledge of manufacturing to secure favorable terms

• Maintain accurate records of all contracts, bids, and project costs

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action as necessary

• Work in a hybrid schedule, splitting your time between on-site and remote work. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or industry

• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Government Contracts

• Proficiency in managing Manufacturing Costs

• Strong Project Management skills

• Experience in preparing and managing Bid Proposals

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for the role

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
