Residential Interior Designer

Assist on multiple projects under the supervision of mid to high -level designers. Draft and render plans, elevations, and details for design development and construction documents including tile/stone layouts, millwork, reflected ceiling plans, and electrical plans. Receive technical guidance from the Project Manager on unusual or complex issues and project plans. Measure, document, and draft existing conditions of spaces and furniture. Develop presentation materials for design and client meetings with the design team. Produce design development drawings in CAD or hand-drawn schematics. Assist the Project Manager with design development for review, ensuring consistency with project-specific design intent. Draft and model trim, built-ins, furniture, cabinets, and technical details in presentation and construction documents. Source and study selections for plumbing, stone/tile, decorative lighting, finishes, accessories, hardware, etc.

Job Description

• Produce design development drawings in Revit or CAD from CAD or hand drawn schematics.

• Assist Project Manager with design development for review, ensuring consistency with project specific design intent.

• Draft and model trim, built-ins, furniture, cabinets and technical details in presentation and construction documents.

• Source and study selections for plumbing, stone/tile, decorative lighting, finishes, accessories, hardware, etc..

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2-5 years of residential design experience.

• Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design required.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office are required.

• Proficiency in Studio Designer and Adobe Suite a plus.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and professional written skills.

• Detail-oriented, team-oriented, and self-motivated.

• Professional work ethic.

• Comfortable with taking direction.

• Ability to read construction drawings and prioritize tasks across multiple projects.



Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
