Job Description:

The OR Inventory Controller is an integral member of the health care team. This position is responsible for coordination of services including ordering, receipt, putaway, and verification of incoming supplies and equipment into the OR. Maintains accurate inventory levels monitoring and creating daily replenishment orders insuring supplies are available for the OR on a daily basis. Works with OR clinical staff and buyer to determine necessary supply requirements from both the Supply Chain storeroom and outside Vendor orders. The OR Inventory Controller must possess strong interpersonal, analytical and technical skills. Requires excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Performs all other duties as assigned according to the objectives of the MM department and hospital.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent), Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Health Care experience necessary with 2 years’ experience in Storeroom/Distribution setting.

  • One year prior supervisory experience preferred.

  • Computer skills experienced with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Workday or other Materials Management System.
