Job Title: Experienced Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding skills and the ability to read blueprints accurately. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about welding and wants to be part of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Weld and grind parts to clean up weld metal.
Read blueprints to ensure accurate welding.
Use calipers and micrometers to measure Auger Flyte.
Clean and organize work station regularly.
Assist in prepping bays with helpers.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Understanding of weld symbols.
Experience using calipers and micrometers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Welding certificate from High School or Technical School.
Previous fabrication experience.

Work Environment
Our work environment includes a weld shop with up to 20 welders. Training typically lasts 1-2 weeks on the first shift with a manager before transitioning to more independent work. The first shift runs from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The dress code includes jeans without holes, boots, and a T-shirt. During winter, dress warmly as the facility can get cold with doors opening. A weld helmet is required. The facility is located in Bettendorf, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
