Golf Car Mechanic Bettendorf, IA

Job Summary: Golf Car Mechanics are responsible for maintaining and repairing electric, gas or diesel engine golf cars and UTVs. Golf car mechanics must have knowledge of the components that make up a golf car. This includes everything from the engine to the brakes to the electrical system. The mechanics will also need to know how these parts interact with each other so they can identify any problems quickly and effectively. Must have own tools. Specialty tools are provided.

Job Duties: o Routine maintenance to ensure all golf cars are in good condition. o Diagnosing problems with vehicle engines, transmission components, brakes, electricalsystems, fuel systems and other part of the golf car. o Ensure all safety equipment is working properly, including headlights,taillights, turn signals, horn, mirrors, brake lights and reflectors. o Basic maintenance task such as oil changes and changing tires. o Perform regular inspections of cars for any damage or defects to ensure the safety ofdrivers. o Install new components such as engines, transmissions, or other parts as needed torepair broken equipment.

Required Skills: o Experience in trouble shooting, repair, and preventative maintenance servicing on golfcars and utility vehicles (electric, gas and diesel). o Physical capability to perform the job duties, including lifting up to 60 lbs. o Good communication skills (verbal and written). o Dependable and punctual o Manages time wisely

Experience and Education Required: o High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate

Pay and Benefits: Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour o Full-time position, 40+ hours per week o Day Shift - Monday thru Friday o Medical, Dental, Vision o Company paid Basic Life Insurance o Simple IRA o Paid Holidays o Paid Time Off

Physical Demands: o Regular and predictable attendance is required. o Ability to stand for extended periods. o Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 60 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing orwalking.
