Charles Evans Center (CEC Healthcare) is a not-for-profit organization that operates a Federally Qualified Health Center, behavioral health clinical services and mental health residential programming. We provide care with excellence and compassion to underrepresented populations and always strive to meet the unique health care needs of each person served, including individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serious mental health and substance use concerns. This is accomplished using a truly integrated, and culturally informed approach to care delivery.

CEC services are available to all community members and Medicare, Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, and private insurance plans are accepted. CEC also provides care to individuals with limited incomes with a focus on preventative healthcare and wraparound supportive services to ensure healthy lifestyles.

In this vital role, you will:

• Conduct all aspects of psychotherapy with individuals, families, couples or groups according to caseload assigned

• Initiate and maintain contact with other agency departments regarding your patients as necessary and appropriate in the service of quality treatment

• Attend supervisory sessions as scheduled and demonstrate motivation for learning and willingness to take direction

• Attend weekly social work meetings arriving promptly, participating actively in the process and assuming responsibility for rotating presentations

• Attend annual agency training for Quality Assurance including fire safety, mandated reporting of abuse and universal precautions

  We require:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work; or Master's Degree in Mental Health Counselling

• License for Social Work Certification (LCSW) or Mental Health Counselling by New York State

• Strong clinical experience required
