Reference #: 3897 Description Maintenance Level I Technician should understand general safe work practices, the basic principles of mechanical repairs on industrial machinery, basic electrical safe work practices, and be able to perform general and major maintenance repairs on equipment and building.

3rd Shift, Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00am Paid breaks, benefits are available after 60 days & uniforms are provided! Pay rate range is between $22.50 - $30.00 per hour based on experience, plus $2.10 shift differential per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work safely and be able to identify potential safety concerns both during job duties and during interactions with other departmental employees Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform minor and major repairs of building and equipment Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) procedures while following a prescribed program and schedule Fabricate simple items for machine repair and improvement Use basic shop tools to perform all necessary repairs, PM and fabrication Follow basic outlined inventory control process to ensure critical parts inventories are maintained Other related duties as assigned Qualifications:

General industrial mechanical experience including pneumatics and hydraulics General industrial electrical experience including high voltage and 3 phase motors Basic understanding of electronic control systems including PLC Education and/or Experience: High school graduate or equivalent 1 to 2 years' experience in a maintenance environment or some schooling in related fields Language Skills: Proficient English, oral and written communication skills (required) Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills Have understanding of decimals, fractions and the metric system Ability to read basic measuring tools (scales, micrometers, gauges) Reasoning Ability: Have the ability to work through basic electrical and mechanical issues as they arise Computer Skills: Basic computer skills (required) Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
