SHI Cisco Operations Ordering Specialist I in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania
Job Summary

The Cisco Operations - Ordering Specialist will assist in streamlining SHI's ordering process for Cisco to acquire assets for our customers more efficiently. This position is remote but may be required to report to an SHI office for business needs as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to:
Act as an expert for Cisco ordering requirements
Become proficient with internal sales systems and tools for quoting, ordering, and sourcing products
Run daily reports to identify Cisco orders that are ready for placement and appropriately prioritize them
Meet response times as required by management
Ensure order accuracy before releasing it for placement
Communicate with both internal and external resources to resolve post-sales issues, following them through to completion
Identify common problems and help leadership devise plans to proactively address them
Stay up to date on Cisco ordering requirements and product offerings by attending product and sales trainings as required
Maintain relationships with both internal and external (Cisco) sellers by ensuring orders are submitted cleanly to prevent kickbacks and delays
Manage deal trackers for month end booking recognition
Collaborate closely with distribution team and SHI's Purchasing Department to ensure process efficiencies are being completed correctly internally and externally
Take on additional projects as required by management/business needs
Qualifications
1 year experience in Technology reseller or adjacent
Cisco and/or distribution knowledge preferred
2 years’ experience in Customer Service and/or Sales Experience

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Experience with Cisco's Commerce Tool - CCW
Knowledge of SHI's ordering process
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Advanced Excel knowledge
Unique Requirements
- Position requires 10-15% travel for ongoing enablement and training

The estimated pay range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
