We’re searching for our next Senior Communications Manager who can take charge and spearhead our communications efforts with our federal clients, including technology, health, and other key accounts.

You’ll make a real impact working directly with our clients to address and solve their key issues, drive change, and grow our business. As our next Senior Communications Manager, you’ll lead a client team and work with our federal clients to plan, develop, and implement innovative strategies and programs to help them achieve their mission.

You are passionate and knowledgeable about pressing issues, engaging with key partners, and honing messages that are spot on. If you have prior experience working with federal, state, and local programs, we'd love to talk to you. Position will be located in Washington, D.C. Metro Area.

As a Senior Communications Manager you will oversee a portfolio of products and services, including:

  • Establishing and maintaining a mission and vision for client communications efforts, developing new business opportunities, and leading new business proposal efforts.

  • Collaborating with Federal agency partners and stakeholders to effectively launch and maintain project operations.

  • Developing strategic marketing and communications plans, marketing campaign development, and implementing new initiatives.

  • Overseeing creative development for a suite of client program areas including content development, campaigns, web design, social media, and graphic design.

  • Overseeing project quality including staff performance, reports, deliverables, project costs, and contract financial performance.

  • Managing and coaching members of the account team.

  • Monitoring staff utilization and conducting annual performance reviews.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience developing and overseeing multi-faceted communications/marketing initiatives.

  • 3+ years of experience managing multiple federal government communications/marketing projects.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance (required by Federal government for the position)

  • Demonstrates the ability to orchestrate the conversations that lead to innovation and meaningful impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a PR agency or similar communication setting.

  • A focus on IT communications

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$102,285.00 - $173,884.00
