Aston Carter Collections Analyst in Bethesda, Maryland

Job Title: Collections AnalystJob Description

• Customer Interaction and Support: - Document customer concerns, inquiries, and questions - Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction - Review inbound customer communications via FreshDesk, email, Highradius, Phone, Voice Mail - Answer incoming customer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner - Act as the first point of contact for customers seeking information or assistance related to accounts receivable • Invoicing and Financial Administration: - Send copies of open invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communication - Research customer payments received, verifying the correct application of payments and addressing any discrepancies - Collaborate with the AR team to reconcile accounts and resolve payment-related issues • Communication and Collaboration: - Maintain clear and concise communication with internal stakeholders regarding customer concerns and payment updates - Collaborate with internal teams, including Collections, Cash App., and Billing, to address complex or escalated customer concerns - Facilitate effective communication and ensure a smooth handoff to the appropriate colleague when necessary - Follow up with customers to ensure that their concerns have been satisfactorily addressed and provide additional information or clarification as needed - Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate channels for further investigation and resolution

Hard Skills

  • 1+ years of Collections, AR, or Billing

  • Experience researching and analyzing collections

  • Tech Savvy (Experience with HighRadius)

  • Strong experience with Excel

Soft Skills

  • Great Communication (written and oral)

  • Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Bethesda, Maryland.

Work Environment

They are open to employees coming in between 7 am-9 am, but the schedule has to be the same every day, and you are still expected to work an 8-hour work day if you come in at 9 am. 30 min unpaid lunch. Parking onsite- free.
