This position is limited to 12 months.

Your role.

In this critical role, you will develop, implement, and improve global programs to deliver on our ambition of high employee health & safety, well-being, and organizational. You will use your experience and networking skills to engage and empower the international EHS community, driving impactful change and capacity-building across our organization.

Your tasks.

  • Program Development: Develop and implement global standards and initiatives that align with our company and regulatory requirements

  • Enhanced Reporting: Continuously improve corporate reporting and monitoring systems to focus executive attention on critical matters

  • EHS Strategy Execution: Collaborate with the global EHS community to complete our strategic objectives, encouraging a continuous improvement of working conditions

  • Project Management: Apply your expertise as a networker, facilitator, and project manager to conceptualize and implement initiatives, campaigns, and projects across business units and international regions. This includes driving some global Safety project initiatives until implementation

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to EHS regulations, standard methodologies, and management systems, including comprehensive reporting requirements such as CSRD, Taxonomy, and other frameworks

  • Partnership Building: Form positive relationships both within and outside the organization to nurture advocacy and influence positive change in health and safety practices

Your profile.

  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in safety engineering, occupational health, or a related field

  • Professional Experience: Several years of experience in EHS management within a large global organization

  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of EHS regulations, standard processes, and management systems

  • Human-Centered Design: Knowledge of human-centered design, Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles, and Learning Teams/Operational Learning

  • Solution-Oriented: A proactive approach with a strong teammate spirit, capable of leading and collaborating across diverse business units, regions, and functions

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop future-focused strategies and programs that embed purpose at the core of business operations

  • Communication Skills: Excellent eye for business, communication, and presentation skills

  • Networking: Confirmed ability to build growing partnerships and influence a network of advocates

  • Change Management: Ability to influence internal work systems and processes successfully

  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in German is optional but helpful
