The Application Sales Representative - is an outside Sales Executive role focused on selling both our Hospitality Property Management Solution along with our Point of Sale Solution to the Independent Hotel Market. Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to SMB or Mid-Market existing and prospecting named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts). We are seeking high-performance sales people with a passion and dedication to leading customers via technology. You will raise your industry profile while selling solutions based on leading Oracle Hospitality cloud, software and hardware technology and services, enabling our hotel customers to deliver outstanding guest service and drive revenue.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Handle a high-volume sales territory
Lead successful client acquisition in very competitive settings.
Meet or exceed annual and quarterly attainment targets.
Develop strong relationships with prospective customer teams, ensuring mutual partnership throughout the relationship
Create opportunities, solution proposals, contracts encompassing all aspects of our offering
Lead cross functional teams in the development, presentation and delivery of the value proposition
Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers
Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale
Work with Oracle Hospitality consulting, support and partners to ensure successful hand-off and delivery of the project
Ability close business while navigating complex approval processes
Provide weekly forecast to regional leader
Provide territorial GTM plans
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of field sales or sales management experience , ideally in hospitality software solutions.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Customer-centric approach and understanding of user needs
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Experience in resort, hotel or restaurant operations, IT or finance
Demonstrable experience drafting professional, business quality correspondence
Critical thinking skills to navigate sophisticated successful approvals processes
Understanding computer industry technology and terminology, such as Cloud, operating systems, applications, database, networking, hardware, consulting and support
Proficient in Outlook, CRM, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to travel at or above 25% based on requirements of the sales cycle and work location
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Oracle Hospitality products such as OPERA Property Management and Simphony Point of Sale, or experience with products from other technology suppliers in our industry
Knowledge of the payments industry
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
