Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lead Operations Analyst Engineer for Phantom Works programs in Berkeley, MO.

The Future Air Systems and Technology team within the Virtual Warfare Center (VWC) has the need for an additional Lead Operations Analyst who is interested in working difficult problems at the front end of the business. The analyst will guide and deliver customer focused analysis, as well as modeling and simulation, to address a variety of capability gaps within the Air Domain. The VWC, at large, is responsible for producing Family of Systems constructive and virtual analysis for future aircraft and weapons systems. Observations derived from the analysis will be used to inform BDS investments and drive Phantom Works capture strategy.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and conduct operations analysis around aircraft and weapons systems

• Deliver concise results from complex analyses

• Develop models and software simulations

• Interface with government customers as well as internal Boeing Business Units to gather model inputs and share analysis results

• Proactively coordinate across programs to apply mathematical and algorithmic best practices

• Key presenter at reviews

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

• 3+ years of experience conducting analysis using models or simulation

• 3+ years of experience in researching, producing and presenting technical information.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: 119,850 – 162,150
