Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to develop scripts to resolve end-user issues proactively, gather data from our endpoint management platforms (Intune, SCCM, Tanium, Azure, Graph API, Citrix, ServiceNow) to track compliance, and continuously improve user experience. You will improve and maintain existing remediation scripts, develop processes for exporting data by leveraging API calls to our endpoint management systems, and implement all development using a DevOps process, utilizing CI/CD pipelines within a Scrum Agile framework in both a Windows and Mac OS environment. You will build automation solutions to manage all facets of the end-user computing environment and create custom reports using SQL, Microsoft Graph API, KQL, and Power BI. You will collaborate with the Infrastructure, Security, Applications teams to ensure seamless integration of end-user computing solutions with other systems and platforms, translate business requirements into technical requirements and develop comprehensive technical designs and implementation plans, and proactively identify and address significant bugs or issues.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building code with Python and PowerShell to create automation scripts

• Expertise in building/consuming API call/functions to interact with SaaS/PaaS application services

• Expertise building/following agile, scrum, sprints development process to build applications

• Experience with DevOps application fundamentals and expertise with Azure DevOps or GitHub * OS Virtualization knowledge (Hyper-V, Citrix, Windows 365)

• Experience with ServiceNow as a user

• Experience with EDR security solution (CrowdStrike)

Experience with Bomgar (BeyondTrust Remote Support), Thousand Eyes, and MSFT Power Platform null
