Position Overview

As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll support the clinical manufacturing of cell therapy Drug Substance (DS) and Drug Product (DP). This role requires close collaboration with Biological Development (BD) and Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) teams to align processes, manage production, and handle deviations. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across various stages of the cell therapy production lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform clinical manufacturing tasks across cell expansion, cell culture, differentiation, solution preparation, and visual inspection.

• Operate single-use technology (SUT) and troubleshoot equipment end-to-end within the production process.

• Ensure compliance with cGMP standards for clinical and commercial manufacturing phases.

• Communicate effectively across shifts and teams, escalate and support investigations of deviations.

• Participate in safety investigations and maintain safe work practices.

• Flexibility to adjust shift schedules based on process needs, including off-hour, night, weekend, and holiday coverage as required.

What You’ll Bring

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.

• Experience : Minimum of 2+ years of experience in GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing. Transferable skills are welcomed.

• Technical Skills : Familiarity with DeltaV, SAP, and various lab and manufacturing equipment (e.g., bag fillers, pumps, biosafety cabinets, welders, sealers).

• Core Competencies : Independent decision-making, flexibility, strong communication, and ability to adapt to production changes quickly.

• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and engage in manual tasks, such as weighing chemicals and installing/removing bags and filters.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
