Location Description The Post Consumer Brands sales office in Bentonville is in the heart of the Natural State, Arkansas. Bentonville is also home to the Walmart home office, which this sales team primarily serves. In addition to managing the relationship with Post's largest customer, the small, dedicated team also participates in several charitable and volunteer events throughout the year. Responsibilities Working Location: Hybrid/Remote This role is based out of the Bentonville, AR Sales office #LI-hybrid Open to remote candidates in the Nashville, TN area Reports to the Sr. Manager of Customer Supply Chain, supporting Dollar General and Family Dollar. The Sr. Analyst, Customer Supply Chain works within customer systems and PCB internal systems to provide forecast, replenishment, promo/reset planning, and inventory management support. Responsible for evaluating data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, developing recommendations, and implementing solutions to improve service, increase revenue, and reduce costs. Performs order maintenance, metrics reporting, and scorecard upkeep. The Sr. Analyst, Customer Supply Chain is responsible for forecasting and inventory replenishment in the customer’s system as well as alignment with PCB systems. Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the customers’ supply chain counterparts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Customer Focus Exhibits strong ability to develop and maintain best in class relationship between Post Consumer Brands and our customers. Serves as PCB supply chain representative to the customer. Communicates customer supply chain strategy/action plans cross-functionally with multiple teams within Post Consumer Brands. Achieves and maintains forecast alignment between PCB and the customer. Serves as a customer expert in support of PCB and customer supply chain initiatives. Development and maintenance of reporting and scorecards reflecting customer-specific metrics. Interprets metrics into business intelligence and strategic planning. Technical/Functional Expertise Experience/familiarity with Dollar General or Family Dollar tools and supply chain/merchandise operations processes strongly preferred. Systems/Tools – 1010data expertise required. One Network experience preferred. Expertise in Tableau or Power BI strongly preferred. Must be proficient in Excel, and able to analyze and interpret large amounts of data. Manages established customer/item forecasts and replenishment at the retail and DC levels. Filters promotional volume from historical data and business trends to obtain baseline forecast; Includes screening for other causal events that are not likely to repeat. Fine tunes forecast; affirms appropriate customer system settings. Gathers and interprets relevant causal information from large data pulls that impacts demand patterns and the operational forecast. Provides guidance internally on incremental promotion volume and documents assumptions to update the forecast. Demand/Supply Management - Obtains supply information from Supply Planning; Communicates product supply situation and prognosis, action plans to Customer, Sales and PCB Supply Chain teams. Inventory Management – Creates and executes accurate, effective plans to meet inventory and service level targets. Plans inventory replenishment by SKU at retail and DC levels in support of customer objectives. Establishes joint inventory targets for days supply, safety stock, service levels, etc. Tracks and minimizes out of stocks at retail and DC levels. Regularly communicates inventory management strategy, actions to cross functional partners. Performance Reporting – Monitors and reports on key performance metrics, assigns causes for out of tolerance performance. Initiates actions to improve instocks, inventory levels, OTIF, forecast accuracy, and service to support KPI’s as indicated by customer. Investigates stocking, delivery, and product activity problems, finds root causes and develops and implements solutions. Develops and distributes weekly consumption of forecast, product activity, inventory and service performance reports as required. Provides daily instock measurement by item detailing exceptions below performance expectation with plan of action on improvement. Provides weekly performance reporting to customer on all scorecard measures detailing business key wins and losses as well as plan of action on metrics needing improvement. Relationship Management – Builds and maintains successful working relationship with customer supply chain/replenishment counterparts, as well as internal cross-functional PCB partners, over assigned items/categories. Project Management – Participation, leadership in supply chain initiatives within Post Consumer Brands to further drive efficiencies for PCB and our customers. Act Creates and communicates customer reset, promotion, and replenishment plans to ensure our alignment with customer needs. Creates and communicates accurate forecasts to service customer sales requirements. Identifies/implements supply chain best practices. Proactively establishes and implements countermeasures to negative trends. Identifies opportunities to improve process flow and/or reduce variation. Organizational and People Development Develops against PCB’s Leadership Expectations – Leading Self Serves as subject matter expert on supply chain/replenishment processes. Educates other users on process capabilities. Leads collaboration and coordination with all functional areas for supply chain-related improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Develops strong relationships and processes with all interfacing cross functional departments. Qualifications Education: Four-year degree, preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, replenishment, sales forecasting, or inventory management. System Experience: 1010data experience required. Proficiency in a broad range of computer skills – Excel, Tableau, and presentation software. Skills: Strong customer service orientation. Must be self-motivated and able to structure and prioritize work for maximum productivity. Ability to confidently interface with retail customer teams. Great familiarity/comfort level with logistics planning and material management/logistics concepts. Strong ability in qualitative and quantitative analysis. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to manage many details and tasks with a high level of accuracy and urgency. Skill in prioritizing workload and organizing information. Ability to establish timelines and meet deadlines. Ability to initiate, coordinate and move forward on planned activities in a team environment. Management Skills: Decision making, problem solving, ability to incorporate multiple views (customer, sales, other logistics functions) in the demand/supply planning process. Ability to present information, make recommendations and facilitate change. Strong critical, conceptual, and analytical thinking, and good business judgment.
