Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Product Management and Innovation Possesses knowledge of: Product discovery processes; product roadmap design methodologies; prioritization approaches. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Identifies customer problems, business opportunities, requirements/needs for new products, and customer tools. Owns product discovery processes (for example, cadence, feedback, iteration, backlog management) for a simple customer problem. Builds product roadmaps with proper phasing. Communicates product roadmaps to cross-functional partners and stakeholders, leveraging elements such as PRDs/white-papers. Independently (or with minimal guidance) conducts activities for product/ feature analytics with an understanding of simple trends/insights. Utilizes customer feedback to solve for current product and tool gaps and develop new and easy to-use products. Site Structure Management Possesses knowledge of: Search engine optimization; site structure; site taxonomy; web analytics tools. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Collaborates with and understands the value of other research partners (for example, site analytics, consumer insights) to synthesize and leverage existing data and coordinate research efforts. Follows search engine optimization strategies or requirements to deliver high-quality content. Reviews raw data containing the factors influencing search rankings and analyzes their use in search engine optimization performance. Creates tracking systems to measure the relevance and popularity of website content. Conducts reviews the landing page content, keywords, and advertisement text to ensure relevance. Influential Communication Possesses knowledge of: Verbal/nonverbal behaviors; application and allocation of business communication styles/techniques in ambiguous and challenging situations; situational awareness; communication channels/mediums; interpersonal skills and universal relationship building. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Leads discussions with varying viewpoints. Presents to and influence diverse audiences across divisions using appropriate frameworks/tools. Leverages fact-based data and analytics insights from multiple business domains to build a cohesive narrative, form an argument, organize thoughts, and present in a clear, concise, and meaningful way. Demonstrates decision and coordination skills when faced with conflicting or ambiguous inputs. Acts as a trusted advisor to diverse business partners, influencing them to act as needed to move the business forward. Provides effective, timely feedback to others. Seeks, internalizes, and utilizes feedback to make changes. Market and Customer Analysis Possesses knowledge of: Data gathering and reporting tools; market data sources; customer behavior analysis methodologies. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Designs targeted customer engagement processes based on customer analytics. Capitalizes on strategic opportunities that customer analytics can bring to the organization. Interprets business risks and potential threats and opportunities using predictive modeling. Monitors global and regional market trends, directions, experiences, and key players. Anticipates, capitalizes on, and drives changes in the market. Develops advanced tools and techniques for validating market research. Establishes alternative theories and models based on the results of market research. Recommends methods for using web analytics to cultivate high-value customers. Supports the integration of analytics with other applications (for example, enterprise data warehouses, business intelligence tools, predictive analytic models). Leverages competitor and industry insights to measure site success and inform future site strategies. Campaigns and Launches Possesses knowledge of: Campaign processes; program/project management tools; promotional tools and methods; promotional guidelines. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Reviews plans and campaign management processes. Predicts and resolves problems during a launch. Advises team members on the selection of campaign objectives, scopes, formats, and other arrangements. Develops partnerships and strategies with Marketing, Homepage, and other SBU teams for linking opportunities. Partners with Merchants to provide proactive guidance on product launches and promotional campaigns. Evaluates performance and provides relevant insights and recommendations. Ensures that all campaign management activities comply with applicable branding guidelines and institutional standards. Oversees launch workflows and ensures a smooth run of events. Category Strategy Management Possesses knowledge of: eCommerce retail environments; merchandising strategies and plans; business plan development processes. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Identifies and recommends different business models (for example, joint partnerships) as appropriate to change ways of working and make the team future ready. Develops contingency plans to improve processes and avoid problems before they occur. Drives process changes to enable savings opportunities and strategy execution. Reduces risks to the business. Owns and ensures the execution of departmental strategies. Thinks critically and systematically about complex business problems and opportunities. Applies the underlying theories behind macroeconomic behaviors to all levels of the organization. Uses strategic frameworks, advanced models, and business and competitor knowledge to devise strategies, understand trade-offs, and make informed business decisions. Develops a prioritized site strategy plan that delivers the needs of the business in alignment with the overall strategy and business plan. Recognizes and translates complex data into insights to support stakeholders and explain complex data in an easy-to-understand way. Supports and influences evidence-based decision making by objectively establishing requirements, identifying options, and selecting and recommending solutions to deliver services that provide value to business. Guides analysis to support departmental strategic initiatives. Partnerships Possesses knowledge of: Communication channels; team dynamics; organizational ways of working. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Consults with leaders of business unit(s)to advise on business strategy decisions. Leads cross-functional business initiatives and encourages team members to cultivate relationships across the business. Establishes shared goals and information-sharing platforms to foster collaboration. Seeks and provides constructive feedback, anticipates needs/questions, and responds appropriately. Site Experience Possesses knowledge of: Site navigation; site standards; visual merchandising methodologies; site tools and administrative systems (for example, Tempo, Tango). To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Develops and plans the visual merchandising strategies of departments and campaigns by ensuring strategies are based on category knowledge, site performance data, sales plans/forecasting, and marketing plans. Leads the development of new site capabilities by leveraging cross-functional understanding of site performance, benchmarks, and merchandising best practices. Ensures the implementation and optimization of site experience strategies by prioritizing efforts based on business importance and sales potential. Reporting and Insights Possesses knowledge of: Database tools (for example, SQL, Oracle); visualization tools (for example, Tableau etc.); storytelling through information. To be able to carry out the following responsibilities: Gathers and integrates data from different sources and interprets data using tools like SQL to create insightful reports for Omni-channel retail design. Writes and publishes research documents and reports on diverse topics. Provides insights to the business based on research findings. Develops new reporting and insights capabilities that add value to the business. Identifies and recommends the most suitable visualization tools based on context. Generates appropriate graphical representations of data and models outcomes. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
