Overview:

The Account Supervisor supports the agency Shopper Marketing team and plays a critical management role to contribute to the success of client’s projects. You will play a key role in all disciplines from strategic development to execution. In this role, you will serve as a lead agency contact for a major CPG client. This candidate is dialed in to the competitive landscape and has a firm grasp on the client’s category, industry, and business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Develop strong and effective relationships with clients with ability to offer strategic counsel.

  • Quickly become familiar with client’s brand (requirements, messaging, creative) and effectively work with internal teams to ensure programs are following client protocol.

  • Possess mature insights and critical assessment of overall agency business, and shopper marketing strategy and tactics.

  • Provide solid and trusted shopper marketing counsel to PC peers, industry partners, vendors, and clients.

  • Manage daily workflow and serve as primary day to day point of contact for clients.

  • Develop strategic plans and lead team in translating them into tactical programs.

  • Collaborate with other account teammates, creative, and/or external teams to develop marketing programs and solutions for client.

  • Manage responsibilities independently with little day to day direction from senior members.

  • Manage program timelines, keeping account team members and client teams aware of any deviations.

  • Support team with proofing to ensure all client’s brand standards are met.

  • Organize and lead client facing presentation decks and meetings, preparing all relevant documents.

  • Manage, analyze, and present campaign results.

  • Serve as an agency ambassador and leader to help grow the shopper marketing business.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the program scope with the ability to establish and manage budgets.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

  • Demonstrate passion for highest quality of work.

  • Act as a role model and mentor for more junior staff, including SAE’s, AE’s, AAE’s

Education / Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in related field, minimum 4 years work experience in marketing agency industry.

Skills & Abilities:

Proven account management skillset in creating, maintaining, and enhancing client relationships. Thorough understanding of agency processes. Experience managing

Shopper marketing programs (digital, print, in-store, omnichannel campaigns) Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to mentor, train and develop junior staff.

Able to articulate business problems and challenges and work towards a solution.

Independent thinker with exceptional teamwork skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships with clients, internal staff in all departments and vendors. The ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines. Effectively prioritize demands and follow through on commitments.

Computer Skills/Tools & Technology :

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Power Point, Outlook – Proficient to Advanced.

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to be able to: sit, stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and/or other peripherals. Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Identify and understand the speech of another person. Communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. Light to moderate lifting may be required from time-to-time up to 30 lbs.

Work Environment:
