Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Project Management Teams are responsible for managing the operational aspects of projects from inception through implementation. They coordinate cross-functional teams and serve as liaison between project management and planning, project teams and line management. Our Teams review status of projects and budgets, manage schedules and prepare status reports. They assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. They also develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Main tasks:
Plan, execute and track improvement projects in line with the strategic and operational plans of the Auto EMEA Integrated Supply Chain Function and Global Automotive Operations and Supply Chain Function
Support and contribute to the creation of the ISC strategy and derive a Project roadmap and action plan
Analyses resources availability, assigns action responsibilities, and coordinates and allocates resources for the projects.
Management of improvement projects, i.e. leads him or herself major improvement projects that are cross-functional and of strategic importance
Close collaboration and liaison with management and their teams of others functional areas inside the Integrated Supply Chain organization to initiate and coordinate improvement initiatives
Consult CoE and ISC Management improvement opportunities
Lead, identify and organize the required resources to achieve the successful execution of CoE PMO lead projects
Oversees status and level of (milestone) achievements across all CoE PMO lead projects and provide respective reports
Ensures a consequent follow-up on lessons-learned, i.e. manage a continuously learning organization
Lead a small team Project Managers
What your background should look like:
Bachelor degree, preferably in logistics/supply chain or manufacturing
At least 10 years of experience in Operations, preferably in Supply Chain related functions
3-5 years of leadership experience either in a functional or a general management role
Strong project management skills
Six Sigma Green or Black Belt qualification is an advantage
Deep and Broad know-how in Operations and Supply Chain fields
Strong system knowledge of Supply Chain related systems
Strong interpersonal skills and very good negotiation and communication skills
Strong analytical skills, strategic and tactical thinking as well as problem solving skills
Track record in managing cross-functional teams and driving transformation
Experience in international environment and automotive sector
Fluent negotiation skills in English
