Midwest Goods Inc. Overnight Aisle Stocking Associate in Bensenville, Illinois

Location : Bensenville, IL

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM

Status: Full Time (Non-Exempt)

Compensation: $18 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Employee is responsible for their assigned Zone, along with any other job duties given by their reporting Manager. They will actively participate in all aspects of stocking, down stocking, overstock placement, replenishment.

Essential Functions

  • Refills and maintains accurate inventory levels for all pick locations within their assigned areas.

  • Reports mislabeled bins and out of stock products to lead/supervisor.

  • Replenishes requested items based on Shipping needs and order fulfillment according to established Company guidelines.

  • Identifies and reports inventory discrepancies, location errors, and corrects them as necessary.

  • Ensures that all products in your designated aisle are properly labeled and stocked; ensures the aisle is organized and clean.

  • Maintains aisles by following established sorting and stocking guidelines.

  • Helps with big orders and case quantity orders

  • Work on special projects related to over stock and other items.

  • Maintains accurate overstock placement and organization both physically and systematically.

  • Assists in regular case pick replenishments as necessary for large format order fulfillment.

  • Adhere to Company output guidelines ensuring to maintain proper fulfillment metrics.

  • Ben d, kneel , squat, reaches frequently to organize, arrange, and lift products to shelves on a consistent basis.

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a warehouse environment where the noise level can be loud. The employee is frequently exposed to fast-moving carts and employees throughout the warehouse. Every employee must respect others by not swearing or playing loud music that could disturb others.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, reaching up, and lifting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 60 pounds.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Sunday through Thursday 6 PM to 3 AM.

    Travel

    No travel is expected for this position.

    Required Education and Experience

    A minimum of HS Diploma or GED and one year of factory- or warehouse-related experience in receiving and stocking. Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math. Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience are required. Must be able to use warehouse equipment such ladders, cutting tools, etc.

    Preferred Education and Experience

    Associate degree. Experience with inventory management systems and ecommerce platform.
